Spectators at Swimming Lessons
We know everyone loves to watch their swimmers learn! However, please follow these safety steps when coming to lessons.
- For Shamrock pool location please limit to 1 vehicle per family swimming
- All spectators are required to wear a mask or a visor.
Changing Rooms, Bathrooms & Showers
For Shamrock pool students please change quickly and limit shower use as our area is small and we need swimmers to enter and exit quickly.
The hot tub will be closed.
For Lakehead University students please use the changing cabanas located on the pool deck.
Social Distancing
Social Distancing is to be practiced by all members of Learn to Swim while on the pool deck. However, Instructors are able to hold swimmers that require a hands-on teaching approach, while in the water.
PPE
Masks or visors are required by families and swimmers on deck and in the pool area. When the swimmer’s lesson starts, they are able to remove their mask.
CDC shows that COVID-19 does not survive in water and that chlorine is a disinfectant.
Learn to Swim Inc. Thunder Bay Instructors are required to wear masks or face shields at all times.
